Agnontas - Skopelos - Sporades Islands Greece
The quaint and picturesque fishing village of Agnontas, situated on the southern part of Skopelos, is a perfect setting for your holidays here, and it is one of the most beautiful villages on Skopelos.
The village does have it's own small port, and this is often used to cater for ferry boats and Flying Dolphins when bad weather prevents the use of the other ports on Skopelos.
Agnontas is located just 9km from Chora, and 19km from the western village of Glossa. It is a perfect place from which to venture out and explore some of the other interesting and beautiful parts of Skopelos.
There is a nice beach here in Agnontas that is very popular during the summer months, and attracts visitors from all over the island.
There are also the nearby beaches of "Stafylos", "Panormos" and "Milia Beach" that are also worth visiting if you enjoy the sand, sea and sun.
From Agnontas you can take a small boat and visit the beach of Limnonari, which is considered by many to be one of the best beaches on Skopelos.
Agnontas is a very nice village, and one where you can enjoy some very peaceful and relaxing moments, as well as being close enough to visit either Glossa or Chora should you require to do so.
